Connecting with your horse

In the past horses were used to get someone from one city to another or drag a cart with potatoes, on which survival in the winter depends, but today they are mostly used for entertainment. Once you understand this, you begin to respect the horse more and try to do as little harm to it as possible.

Working with horses can be hard. To teach a foal just to walk around, you have to spend several months on regular workouts. A horse trainer teaches horses to make bows, lie down on command, shake their heads etc.

The equipment that is used for horse riding can cause them pain, so here we will tell you about some problems that the horse has to go throw just for one ride.

The snaffle bit puts pressure on the soft tissue of the skin. Through the mouth, the horse feels when the rider scored or released the occasion. The stronger the rider pulls the reins, the more the horse feels the pressure.

When horses feel the pressure they just want to get rid of it and they start ignoring the commands. Sometimes they are mad and bite the snaffle bit, throwing their tongue through them. The horse then becomes uncontrollable and is ready to throw the rider off its back. It is impossible to cope with the horse at this moment, so just jump.

All this happens, only if the rider wants to achieve his goal at any cost, but does not feel and does not understand he is working with a living creature.

You can connect with your horse by following these simple, but very important steps. One of the most important, yet very simple tricks is to groom your horse often; spending lots of time with your horse will mean a world. Use your hands to create a connection. You must be gentle while putting the tack and give your horse treats. And finally, ride your horse or go for a walk, but keep his safety and comfort in mind.

Making a connection with a horse, especially a new one can be hard and very tricky. No worries, though. They will quickly see you with different eyes, just when you make changes for a better bond and a new connection with your horse.
